With existing camera technology, capturing or documenting one’s life is so time consuming and inconvenient that most people decide to not do it. Some people stay away from recording video because of their physical limitations. Many others such as drivers need to use their hands for doing other things while at the same time they may want to capture what they see.

The most intuitive and natural way for recording video or taking pictures is to use one’s own eyes. iPal is a wearable computer that makes your eyes your own camera.  iPal follows your eyes and zooms automatically on what you pay attention to.  iPal allows you to capture the whole scene or any subset of it. You can control iPal with eye gestures or from your smartphone.  iPal has its own battery and processor, and would not draw any power from your smartphone.
